CHERRY UPDATE: May 17, 2013
Saturday, June 15th is the first day of the season!
Be here at 8 AM to pick your cherries...
We are looking forward to seeing all our regular customers and some new ones.
We have replanted a portion of our orchard, however there are plenty of cherries, and the look very good already.
Don't forget to pack a picnic lunch, to enjoy are shaded picnic area. If not, we'll have soft drinks, water and really good hot dogs for sale. Our special honey is always popular. There is nothing like it. Even though our costs have risen, we are holding our price to $3.00 a pound, and there is no entry fee or charge for samples.
As always, our tractor and trailer will haul you and the children up our little hill for an added thrill or you may prefer the short walk. Remember to wear a hat and closed toed shoes. As much as we try to keep the ants where they belong, a rare red ant bite is very painful, especially to children.
If you are a first-timer to our ranch, don't hesitate to come in our driveway even if you can't see the 600 cherry trees from the road. Our hill top orchard is beautiful and with the best views in all of Leona Valley. This is not just an orchard, it is our home as well and we welcome your visit as do our friendly horses.
We will most likely have enough cherries for two weekends, however to be sure, call us for an updated phone message at 661 270-9106 on June 18th. We will look forward to your visit.

P.S. If you're coming to Leona Valley for the first
time, use the map on this website. Don't use MapQuest unless you want
to drive up a slow, windy mountain road.
